Letting Go

Alisha Lee Jeffers

For your consideration…

Many of you know that I look hard at finding images that best suite our daily messages. I knew this was the one as soon as I saw it. I love it. I feel it. I’m going to see about buying it.

Our message today reminds us that the only way to grow our Spirit is with love. We need to breathe in love…for ourselves, all others, all things, all situations…and breathe out love.

Consider our lungs and the air we breathe. We can go without food and water for days but only a few minutes without air. We know that our lungs suffer if we breathe in pollution. They crave clean air.

So it is with our Spirit. Anything that does not come from love is pollution. We might think this is not possible. How can I love myself when I have regrets on things I have done? We focus on them, repent them, give them up for healing, and release them and ourselves back to love. We might ask how can I love an experience I have had that was overwhelming and hurtful? We remember it as a life lesson. We focus on our attitude. We are grateful. We let it go and return to a state of love. The same thing goes for people and relationships that have been injured. We heal them with love and blessings.

Only love is real. Only love can grow our Spirit. Always return to love for ourselves and all peoples, places, and things.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Afffirm…“I am loved.”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Return to love. Breathe love in…breathe love out.

What made me smile yesterday…

-I took the day off. I did no work.

-It was a beautiful day.

-We had 3 baby fawns stroll through our yard. It was funny. You could tell when their mothers would call them back into the woods. You could see that hesitation where they are thinking, “Naw, I’m good right here.” but knew when they had pushed it too far and darted back into the woods.

-Finished a good suspense book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,
