For your consideration…

I am not sure we have ever had this message before.

Our message tells us that our body talks to us. It alerts us to what it needs and what is not working so well with it.

We all have those days, special days like Thanksgiving, where we fully expect that we will eat more than we require because everything is so yummy. Afterward, we fully expect to be uncomfortable and/or sleepy. Note that we are being called to note that they are special days. Normal days we should not feel uncomfortable after we eat. If we do, we need to ask why? Did we eat too much? Do we feel bloated because of the foods we ate or the combo of them? If so, we need to identify which it is. If we get headaches, we need to take a look at what we have put in our bodies to see if there is a culprit.

We are asked to notice how we feel after we eat different foods. We are also being told that our body changes over time and so does our reaction to different foods. Just because dairy or gluten never bothered us before does not mean it does not now.

We are also reminded that our body needs water. A good rule is 8×8, 8o ounces 8 times a day…or more. It should be noted that every cell in our body needs water. Listen to your body. If it says its thirsty, get some fluids into it. If you have a headache, drink some water as a first response. Try to make water your first beverage choice. Consider setting up a loose schedule. A glass when you wake up, a glass before a meal, a glass with a meal, a glass between meals, and another during the evening. If we are exercising, drink water before, during, and after. Whatever works for you, is perfect as long as we are replenishing our bodies daily.

The body knows. We are asked to listen to it.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Listen to our body.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Catching up with my sister, Lori.

-A good book.

-Some cards done.

-A reading by Michele Michael who channels Master Teacher Enos.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
