For your consideration…

It was hard to miss. A grosbeak showed us outside my window this morning. He perched himself there until I realized he brought our message. I have never seen this bird around our yard before but I am grateful he showed up today.

When grosbeaks show up it is all about healing the family heart. the red over their heart on their breast reminds us to heal family wounds…old and new. Their beautiful voice is a melody versus a single note. This reminds us that each of us has a role to play in our family relationships and that together we create a beautiful melody…family.

Family relationships are key to who we are and how we learn and grow. Keeping these relationships harmonious is good for our hearts and soul. It is easy to take these relationships for granted but like anything else of significant value, they take work. They take love and care. They take forgiveness and mending sometimes.

We can never give to much love. This is especially the case with families.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Give loving attention to family realationships.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Catching up with Kathy and Mary.

-A great social distancing party with friends.

-The rain threatened to cancel it but held off and was perfect for the party.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
