For your consideration…

There are a lot of parts to today’s message. It actually came in, “to beg, borrow, or steal.”

We know that stealing is wrong. We also know there many reasons people steal; fun, mischief, malice, jealousy, greed, desperation. Today we look at desperation. We can all have sympathy for people who feel there is no other solution but to steal. Our message asks us to consider this thought. Are they desperate because they see no other solution? Or are they desperate because they have too much pride to seek help? Letting our pride make our decisions for us compounds the issue because pride comes from the ego.

Is pride always a bad thing? No, of course, not. When our pride is synonymous with being proud and it keeps a beacon on what is good, then it is a good thing. Like everything else there is a balance….a ying and yang. We know the difference.

Finally, an important part of today’s message is about us, as a member of humanity, the Oneness, that we are observant. It is up to us to notice when we see the distress in our fellow man/woman. It is up to us to freely offer what we have to share without putting them in a position to beg, borrow or steal.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Observe, notice, and be generous with those in need.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Another beautiful day.

-Working from the front porch. This is the second day I have done this and it is proving to be inspiring and productive.

-Some crafting done.

-Finally, after months, a mani/pedi. Ahhh.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
