For your consideration…

As I told my sister, Lori, this morning, I laughed out loud when I received today’s message.

My husband got out of bed and came out looking for his breakfast. He doesn’t eat the normal breakfast so I gave him 3 choices; his usual sandwich, a breakfast sandwich, or his leftover cheesesteak hoagie. Of course, he wanted the sandwich I needed to make. Of course, he chooses to plant himself exactly where I make the sandwich on the counter. He knows this. Irritated this prompts me to say what I always say, “You need to find a new spot and this isn’t it.” I immediately hear my Guides, “If you’re irritated, you know you’re not alone. This is a blessing.” I laughed out loud. Then I hear, “No this is not just your message. It is the blog message.”

Hey, this forced quarantine has created a lot of togetherness that we don’t normally have. Probably most everyone has had a similar experience as I had this morning and certainly, that has not been our only incident.

Our message today, is just our Guide giving us a funny reminder that if we have someone we care about to irritate us, we are Blessed.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths. Spend as much time outdoors as you can.

-Count your blessings in a state of gratitude.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day. We sat on the front porch for a long while.

-I created another small garden.

-Catching up with Jackie.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
