For your consideration…

Seriously, ask my brother always says, you can’t make this s_ _ t up. Anyone who knows me, knows I like efficiency. I loved being an Industrial Engineer. It was right up my alley and I learned a lot. I can apply that skill virtually everywhere….grocery store, around the house, trips, crafting, cooking etc. It is one thing to do it for yourself but quite different when you tend to share your “helpful” hints with others. I’ve probably told you this before but when my husband worked he would get up super early. I tried to explain how he could say time by multi-tasking. He flat out told me, “Don’t IE my morning.”

So back to the message. Bruce and I like different things for breakfast. I like a 1 egg omelet and bacon. He wants a sandwich. So when I go to the frig, I pull the ingredients out for both. Now how can an egg get lost between the carton in the frig drawer and the countertop? I backtracked at least 5 times looking for that one egg until I heard plain as day that the message for today was about the lost egg. Only then did I find the egg.

So what does it mean? First of all, we are reminded that our Guidance is always with us, always working with us and talking to us. We just have to be aware. Second, we have to understand what the “egg” and “lost” mean. When we get an egg it can be many things but combined with “lost” it narrows it down to what our message is about.

Today, the “egg” is about being closed in and living in a limited reality. “Lost” is about unclear on meaning, purpose, and direction in life…indecisive. So…does that pretty much describes many of our lives during this quarantine?

Because we got this message today, our Guidance is acknowledging how we feel. They are drawing attention to it because they want to remind us that while many circumstance are beyond our control and we feel limited, our source…our power…is not limited. We are asked to meditate/pray. Ask what do I need to be doing to help, grow, and understand this new reality.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Use your power.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Catching up with my sister and Shannon.

-Some crafting.

-Finished that book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
