For your consideration…

We have all heard the Abert Einstein definition of Insanity…”Doing the same things over and over again expecting different results.” We resist change. We are comfortable with same-o, same-o. We surround ourselves with it.

Every now and then we get the urge to rearrange our furniture or redecorate. We think about changing jobs. We wonder about reconnecting with old friends. We think about moving or what-ifs. We feel we need a vacation. All these are examples of our authentic self whispering to us to change things up so that we can get out of a rut and change perspective…grow.

This pandemic…no matter how it started…has forced us to change things up. As difficult as it may be, it offers us an opportunity to gain a new perspective. We have been forced out of our comfort zone. We will never again look at things the same way as we did. We are asked to consider that this is neither good or bad…suspend judgment…and accept that it just is.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Look for the bright side of change.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Sunshine…all day.

-All of my neighbors met outside HOPEing to see the Blue Angel flyover. We heard them but never saw them. Still, it was fun catching up.

-Many times over the years, for some reason, my spell check has quit showing up on my Word Press blog site. I have called for help and sometimes found it. For the past several months I have had no such luck. It seems like it should be an easy fix yet every time I download a new plugin, it doesn’t work. A couple of nights ago. I got help from Word Press tech who took a completely different approach. He had me download a grammar app for Firefox. It sits up in my toolbar and applies to whatever application I am working on. Ahhh.

-My friend Janet invited me to join a card making Facebook group. It is perfect timing since I am down

-Viber calling with Alex.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,
