God Bless the Broken Road

For your consideration…

Today’s message came in via the Rascal Flatts song, “God Bless the Broken Road.” This is a love song but concept can be about our life in general;

“Every long lost dream led me to where you are
Others who broke my heart, they were like Northern stars
Pointing me on my way into your loving arms
This much I know is true
That God blessed the broken road
That led me straight to you”

Our life is full of ups and downs, happiness and disappointments, success and failures. Our message tells us that if we suspend judgment and reflect, we will find that everything leads us to exactly where we are supposed to be. There are no mistakes.

We are asked today to remember that, have Faith and Bless all that is presented to us. No matter what it is, it will lead  us to exactly where we are supposed to be…better than ever.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Bless all that is put before us.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Catching up with my girls and friends.

-Sorting, sorting my blogs. Oh my, this is going to take awhile. I think I need to pick up my pace.

-A good book.

-Cenesus done.
