For all sorts of reasons it is easy to get caught up in our everyday life and get stuck in our routine. Sometimes that is comfortable, sometimes it is not. Both share equally in closing off our minds and hearts and limiting our growth and potential.
But we have to guard against that, because we are never meant to be stuck. Life is living and breathing. It is movement. It is growth. It is change. Many of us don’t like change but change is necessary because nothing around us stays the same.We do not live in a cocoon. We are not separate. We are part of the Oneness.
We can not know what is exactly ahead of us. We can prepare for the expected. But we are being asked to stay open to the unexpected. We are being asked to at least consider all the possibilities and potential the unexpected can bring. We are being asked to, or at least consider, being excited about the possibilities versus afraid of or dreading them.
Just as negative thoughts hurt us psychically, psychologically, and spiritually so we are nourished with positive thoughts.
Consider people, events and things are put into our path for a reason. There are no coincidences. Keeping an open mind and heart allows us to see and explore those reasons and recognize opportunities. That is the HOPE.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, hope by hope action steps anyone can take…..
-Meditate
-Remember to be grateful for what you have today.
-Drink lots of water. Some of us live in areas that are feeling cooler but we still need just as much water as we did in the heat of the summer.
-Breath in some of that outdoor air.
-Smile. Remember to feel joy. Remember you are a gift, give away your smiles freely and accept smiles graciously.
