“Moon Goddess” by Josephine Wall

For your consideration…

Today’s message is another exercise. It is about looking into our future. I could not help it. I had to use the above Josephine Wall picture. Right now we have a beautiful enormous full moon so it seemed so appropriate. This Goddess is taking care of the moon. But today as I look at it, I see her using it as a crystal ball because that is perfect for today’s message.

Today we are asked to look at our future as the Moon Goddess is looking at the moon. We are asked to close our eyes and look for our future. We are asked to do two things. Look at our HOPEs and dreams and look at our fears.

It has been a long time since we have talked about a “T” chart. Today we are asked to make a big giant “T” on our paper…maybe in our journal. On top of the “T” title it “Future“. Title the left column “Fears” and the right column “Dreams.” Then list them as you saw, heard of felt them. Remember, no second guessing or judgment.

As we commit them to paper, we bring them forward for action. As we look at each of our fears, we can recall other fears. We can recall that we came through them. We don’t have to let them control us. We do not have to give our power away to them. We can eliminate them.

We may not want to think that our HOPEs are the same as our fears but they are. Just as our fears need to be handled, so do our HOPEs. They have no control over us. We have to use our power to bring them to fruition.

Both our fears and HOPEs need our actions. The very first step is identifying them.

Once again we have a choice. Our attitude is everything. We can look at this exercise with dread and fear or we can look at it as fun and exciting. HOPEfully we choose the latter.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Look into your future3.

What made me smile yesterday….

-A beautiful day.

-Reading by the pool.

-A good book.

-A dinner date with Bruce.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
