For your consideration…

Love can hurt. All of us experience it in our lifetime. How we handle that hurt makes all of the difference.

When love hurts us, we can choose to become embittered, pessimistic and shut our heart down and turn away from love. Or we can choose to embrace our heart, nurture it,  turn inward and welcome love.

How is this possible when our heart is broken? It is possible because the light of love is always inside of us ready to be stoked…ready to heal us…ready to bring us joy and peace.

Love is at our core and always ready sooth us.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take..

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Embrace love. Let it bring us joy and happiness. And let it heal our broken hearts.

What made me smile yesterday…

-First day of Christmas vacation.

-Cans returned, oil changed on car. car washed and grocery shopping done.

-Finished my book.

-Working a Christmas party at our club. I loved the sweater that won the ugly sweater contest.

-A childhood memory came to my dreams.

Love, blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
