Surprise and Delight

For your consideration…

For me there is so much wonderful about today’s message; the message itself, the above picture, the way it was received and discovery.

I think I have mentioned before that after I receive a message, I don’t remember it. Rarely do I remember it shortly after it is written. This used to bother me and I meditated on it. I was told that if a message is repeated then it is for a reason ie; someone will be reading it who did not read it before and needs it, it needed a different focus, more needed to be said etc. The point is there is a reason for it and I should not worry about it.

I bring this up because the message I was given was “Survive versus Thrive.” Great. I started looking for an appropriate photo and picked a great one with a Maya Angelou. It was perfect. When I clicked on it, one of my blogs from 2018 came up with the same title and same photos. This has never happened before. I had to ask what this meant. Should I simply repost or is this a message?

I love my Angels and Guides. I immediately felt their excitement to give me this gift….a surprise and delight. As many of you know with changes in the internet, this blog was down for a few days. I was so excited when it came back up. But there were still some issues. First, none of the old blogs were available from the site. While this was disappointing, I felt fortunate that I have them backed up in a couple of other places. Also the original message I had clicked on that started the whole mess, is still on my dashboard. I called about it and was told to ignore it because the total migration would take a couple of weeks.

Today when the “Survive versus Thrive” blog came up, it came up on HOPEs Rising. The previous blogs are starting to be available once again on the blog site. I immediately knew that the previous message was given to me to take me to that moment and the real message for today.

“Surprise and Delight” is a marketing strategy. It is what companies try to do to persuade customers to buy their products. It is a good strategy because we all love surprise and delights. And as today demonstrated our Angels and Guides love to deliver them to us.

All we are being asked to do today is be on the look out for them and ready to welcome them with open hearts and minds. Let them bring us joy.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

-Affirm..“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is the next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Welcome those surprise and delight gifts.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A totally relaxing day.

-A good book.

-Catching up with Dianne, Alex and Vickie.

-Moose fun.
