For your consideration…

First of all. I feel relieved and blessed that HOPEs Rising Blog is back up and running. Wow. That was a tough stretch.

Our message today is about success. Specifically our personal responsibility for our success. This is a timely message as we approach the end of 2019 and the beginning of 2020.

Several of our messages are about gratitude and blessings. Indeed, every day on this blog I try to example things I was grateful for the day before via, “What made me smile yesterday.” I am sure your noticed that rarely are they anything that most people would consider significant. But that is just the point. Every single day we are presented with blessings and opportunities to help lead us to our next step and then our next and then our next. We are never stranded and on our own. We have help available 24/7.

It is up to us accept what is offered to us and ask for help when we need it. Simply sitting and waiting for someone else to do the work for us is not a viable option. We have to prove that we care and want success by putting in the hard work ourselves. Then it is the Law of Attraction that takes over. The more we do, the more opportunities we accept, the more opportunities are put in front of us because we have shown ourselves capable and ready to handle them.

Each and every one of us are indeed capable. Limitation is a figment of our own imagination.

We are asked today to accept personal responsibility, roll up our sleeves and dive right in with joy and excitement for what awaits us.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Affirm “I am capable.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday…

-We love having our Alex and Moose home staying with us.

-The whole family was here for Thanksgiving. I loved it. Shannon and Will had us over yesterday for a game of football and fellowship. The fellowship was fabulous. The football not so much.

-We are praying for my brother-in-law, John, who was recently diagnosed with leukemia. We talked to him yesterday. He has completed 1 round of chemo and is doing well and in good spirits.

-The weather held out until we were all home safe and sound.

-A good book and good nights snooze.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
