For your consideration…

Consider this bible verse;

Luke 21:1-4

The Widow’s Offering

21 As Jesus looked up, he saw the rich putting their gifts into the temple treasury. He also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins. “Truly I tell you,” he said, “this poor widow has put in more than all the others. All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.

Our message today reminds us that we all have something to offer to others. Our gift is absolutely unique because none of us are the same. We are reminded that the value of our gift is our intention in it not its monetary value.

We are asked to suspend our judgment and never be embarrassed by or consider our gift to be too small. Nor should we judge the gifts of others.

Each of us is blessed to be able to contribute to the health and wealth of others, Mother Earth and the Universe. Doing what feels right, just and wise use of our time and talent is all we are asked to do.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Contribute per your soul’s direction.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A great group of students.

-A good book.

-Dinner out and Drag bingo at the Taproom with my friend, Vickie, was a real experience.

-I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow and I did not move or wake up until this morning. A perfect night’s sleep. I love my new sheets.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
