If I Had a Hammer

For your consideration…

You know I love when we get our messages via a song. But I have to say that this is not my favorite song. My HOPE is that as soon as I get today’s message written, the song will quit playing in my head.

Throughout the beginning of this song everything is “IF.” If I had a hammer, a bell, a song, I’d get rid of injustice, danger etc. and replace it with love between everyone throughout this land. The song concludes realizing that we have a hammer, we have a bell and we have a song.

Our message today is about our personal power. We have the power to fight for justice and rid danger. Above all, we have the power to spread love wherever we go in whatever we do. We can decide that love for each other outweighs all else. Differences should never outweigh our love for each other.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Affirm …”I am love.” Spread love.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Our garage door repairman came over before 7:00 am to fix the door and get me out the door for school by 8:00am.

-A great school day with great students.

-Alex got to go home last night instead of waiting until Saturday.

-Catching up with my sister.
