For your consideration…
We are forever evolving. We learn. We grow. As we do, our belief system forms. We feel it in our soul.
Our message today tells us that this journey is ours alone. Sure people, events, churches, organizations etc. impact us. But what shakes out of them and rings true for us, is for us to decide by ourselves.
No matter what religion. no matter who the head of a church is, we alone define our belief system…our Faith. No matter what we are lead to believe or told we must believe, it is not an all or nothing choice. We alone decide what impacts our belief system. We keep what we know to be right and true and reject what is not. Our belief system is not defined by one person or one religion. It is an evolving journey. Celebrate it.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…
-Affirm…“I am loved.”
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all>”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Celebrate your spiritual journey. Be excited.
What made me smile yesterday.
-A beautiful fall day. So far the wind has kept up with the falling leaves and sweeps our yard clean.
-Great 8th graders. This is the first time this year I have had middle-schoolers. Fun.
-A cooking class. The teacher was a little hard to follow but the food was great.
-A good book.
