For your consideration…

Most of us have probably been on both sides of this quote, “You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink.” And we can all relate to how true it is.

Today’s message focuses on the why. We may think the choice is obvious. We may think the solution is simple. We may think the problem is clear. We may think the timing is now. We may think We know what is best. However, We do not have the power to make the choice for others nor they us.

Our best intentions are not wasted if they are not accepted. It is the energy behind them that counts. We just have to remember to detach from the outcome and honor the power of choice of others. We can be grateful for that and celebrate it.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Work your life purpose.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Our first field trip of the year to the Farmers Market.

-Chopping our vegetables for “stone soup.”

-So much rain but it did not dampen our spirits.

-A great cooking class.

-All the right elements for a great nights sleep; gentle rain, a gentle breeze blowing the wind chimes, a cool night.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
