For your consideration…

I choose this picture because it is kind of funny and is light-hearted which is how today’s message came in.

We have been encouraged to “go with the flow.” Sometimes that is easier said than done. Today’s message tells us to be ready to change…adapt. It is good to have a plan A but be ready with a plan B or at least prepared to come up with one. After all, who said plan A was the best plan after all. There is nothing wrong with changing it and adapting to the needs of the moment or situation. Changing to make the moment the best it can be is the best plan of all.

It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is most adaptable to change.

Charles Darwin

Our job is to perfect our adaptability.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Be adaptable. Consider it a fun challenge.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Synchronicity. I always pull a card for myself each morning. Yesterday’s was get “Outdoors.” Right after writing this blog, my friends Don and Mary came over in Don’s old Magnum. He had taken the T-Roof out and we went for a drive in the country over to Tecumseh and had a relaxed lunch. It was exactly what my Guides were asking me to do.

-More computer work…finding the documents we need. Little by little. There is something to say for not waiting until the last minute because what should be easy may not be.

-I tried a new recipe to take to euchre. Ahhh…not so good, probably my execution. Anyway I had to “adapt.” I remembered I had some great shrimp. I quickly peeled and cooked them and took shrimp cocktail instead. It was a hit so all worked out.

-It was a picture perfect night for euchre on the patio at Chippewa.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
