For your consideration…

Today’s message uses the analogy of climbing a mountain. Sometimes life is hard. It seems like we are climbing a mountain. Our message today acknowledges that.

So we might ask “why.” Why do I have to climb the mountain? Sometimes we have to climb it so that we can get a new perspective. We need to get a higher level view at just what is going on. Sometimes we have to climb the mountain because we need the adventure. Sometimes we have to climb the mountain because we need the exercise and experience. Sometimes we need to climb the mountain to get out of the fray and into the solitude. Sometimes we have to climb the mountain to see the magnificence of Mother Earth. Sometimes we have to climb the mountain so we can see how far we have come. Sometimes we have to climb the mountain to prove that we can.

Climbing mountains may seem like burdens but indeed they are for our higher good.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Climb some mountains.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day complete with showers in the afternoon.

-Some sorting out of our meager estate.

-A good book.

-I figured out a card that I have been wanting to make. I am way better with directions than figuring patterns out on my own. You just have to admire those creative people who can imagine it and then create it.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
