My Mom wasn’t perfect. But she was perfect for me.
Some of you will chuckle and say, “Oh yeah.”
Some of you will say, “Hey, my Mother is perfect.”
Sadly others will say, “No way. When Mothers were passed out, I got the short end of the stick.”
No matter where you stand, consider for a second that my original statement is true. Then maybe consider what are the life lessons I got because of that unique relationship only you and your Mother have (and visa versa)?
Whether your Mother is here or passed, whether your reationship is thriving or floundering, this is the day to honor your Mother and that unique relationship and journey you chose to take together.
While you are at it, why not pause a minute or two outdoors and take some deep breaths to honor Mother Earth who sustains and nurtures us each day.
PS. Mom you’re in my heart today and everyday. Celebrate. xoxoxoxoxoxoxox
WHAT MADE ME SMILE YESTERDAY!
My beautiful Grandaughter, Mackenzie, made her First Communion. She not only looked beautiful, she felt beautiful and thoroughly enjoyed her day. Joy breeds joy. Smiles are contagious. What a great day we had!
