Spirit of Flight

For your consideration…..

Change has been a big topic the last couple of days. Often we fight change because we are more comfortable in the roles we are currently playing. Even if we do not like them, we know what to expect and what is expected of us.

Today we are reminded of our self-worth. We are reminded that when we undervalue ourselves we cut our realm of possibilities short. When we doubt our self-worth, we not only short change ourselves but everyone around us. Because we matter…..each of us matters. We owe it to ourselves and to each other to see and believe in our own self-worth.

Where do we start? We need only bring our truth and love and apply them to every situation. That is enough. Our truth and our love is good enough to make us worthy of anything….everything.

Know that. Act like that. That is the HOPE.

Love alone can unite living beings

so as to complete and fulfill them….

for it alone joins them by what is deepest

in themselves.

All we need is to imagine our ability to love developing

until it embraces the totality of men

and of the earth.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate. You are a gift with gifts to offer. Meditate on your self-worth.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Drink lots of water.

-Tonight reflex back on your day. Reflex on when and where you applied your heart and soul…your truth and love… today. How did that feel.? Was it when you listened intently. Was it in your words? Was it the way you looked upon those who crossed your path….even strangers? Was it in your silence and towards yourself?

What made me smile yesterday…..

-Great students with many opportunities for good teaching moments. You know, those moments that present themselves for little life lessons or words of wisdom. You just got to love those moments.

-Bruce and I reading each others minds.

-Alex sounding better.

-Nick’s good days and moments seem to outweigh his bad. We continue to pray.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Chris
