For your consideration…

We have all heard the phrase “garbage in garbage out.” I think most of us would agree with that statement. It makes sense to us.

Indeed, we have had many messages about being mindful of letting garbage into your soul. We were and are again today reminded that we have the power and control of what we let into our soul. We have a choice. We always have a choice.

Today’s message is about choosing what to do with all of the garbage that surrounds us. We can let it in and affect negatively affect our well-being, eat away at our HOPE, faith and love. We can ignore it…flat out reject it. Or we can see it for what it is and hold it in a space for healing. We can choose to apply forgiveness, light and love to it.

We can choose to be light-workers, healers. We can hold garbage in a safe non-judgmental space and turn trash into treasure with our light and love.

Having said that, the second part of our message makes it very clear that it is not advocating that we take all garbage onto ourselves for healing. No! Sometimes the choice it to just reject it. Sometimes it is to let it pass through. Sometimes it feels close to our soul calling us to heal it. That is the garbage we should give space to.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Look at garbage for what it is and make a decision on what you want to do with it.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Sunshine and birds.

-A good day for making a pot roast and taking it to Bruce and Sue.

-A couple nights ago I had a pretty vivid dream. Part of it included a friend I have not heard from in a long while. And just like, out of the blue yesterday, she called me.

-Catching up with Sandy, Jackie and Alex.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
