For your consideration…

Today’s message tells us, “Relax. It isn’t procrastination. It is downtime.”

Don’t you love it? Of course, it is a balance between always on the go and getting as much done as possible and perpetually procrastination.

The focus of today’s message is the necessity for downtime and relaxation. We are reminded of the problem solving process, “Plan, Do, Check, Act.” Our downtime is our opportunity to do these things. It is the time where we step away and take a good hard look at something and figure out exactly what we need to do. Downtime is a time where we can sit without stress and think….or not. Sometimes the exact right thing to do is to not think but instead clear our head.

Chill, relax and rejuvenate without regrets or guilt. You deserve it.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Take some downtime.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Bob and I visited the new Restaurant Depot in our area….so excited.

-Catching up with both my girls.

-An early bedtime.

-Reading.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
