For your consideration….

….whispering and shouting.

Life is simple and complex all at the same time. Every moment calls for us to adjust to what is required of us. Sometimes we are called to tip toe and whisper to watch and hear the wonder of life. In silence we notice what surrounds us. Other moments we are required to shout and march to be heard and make change.

While silence and tip toeing seem at extreme odds with shouting and marching, they are not. At lease they should not be. When we are living life to our life purpose, the extremes and all in between are linked by a common threads. They are linked by love, joy, faith, HOPE and truth. When we are feeling these things, we know that we are living our life purpose.

Sometimes tip toeing and silence are from anger or fear as is shouting and marching. We may think we are affecting change. We may think that we are justified. We may feel self-righteous. But deep down we know the truth. Our self-righteousness is not justified when it lacks love, joy, faith and HOPE.

With today’s technology, communication is easier than ever. Unfortunately, so is miscommunication. It can be a tremendous tool of help or harm. We are asked today to be honest with ourselves when we are angered or fearful. We are asked to notice the common threads or absence of them before we take action. Where are we coming from. Are we coming from ego or authentic self. Are our actions from love or anger, fear or HOPE, joy or despair, faith or lack of faith.

Letting go of anger and fear will help us live happy life. We have a choice. We always have a choice. I love this Volaire quote, “I have chosen to be happy for it is good for my health.”

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Feel what is in our souls.

What made me smile yesterday….

-One of my favorite classes.

-Finally catching up with Jackie.

-Mac was awesome at her soft ball games.

-It was soooo cold out but I am so glad that I keep extra blankets and coats in my car.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
