HOPES and Dreams

For your consideration…

Yeah, a message on my favorite topic, my life purpose….HOPE.

Perhaps you remember that old tune, “Love and marriage, love and marriage, go together like a horse and carriage.” That is the tune I’m given but instead of “love and marriage” I’m hearing “HOPEs and Dreams, you can not have one without the other.” If we pause and think about it, we know this.

HOPEs and dreams are vital to a healthy soul. They are vital to fulfilling our life purpose. We are asked to remember that.

We are also asked to remember it the next time we decide to step into someone else’s life. Sometimes it is just easier for usto jump in and problem solve for others. We forget that what is easy for us is often a mirror to them on their perceived failures.

We know the phrase, “A hand up.” A hand up can offer new HOPE. But only the person receiving it can breathe it into their soul. We can not do that for them. We can not make them take it, create dreams and grow them. Hard as it is sometimes, we have to back away and give them the opportunity to do that….or not. They have to have the opportunity to make the choice themselves.

We are asked to grow and soar our own HOPEs and dreams and encourage others to do the same.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Drink lots of water.

-Be joyous…be excited…dream, baby, dream.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-An unexpected day off.

-Lunch and shopping with Pam.

-A good book.

-Catching up with both my girls.
