Notches

For your consideration…..

Notches are cuts or indentations made so that things fit together just right. In sewing we make notches along curves etc. so that the fabric will lay flat and allow for a perfect fit.

The world was notched for us before we were born. We are the perfect fit for the purpose we have been sent to do. Our journey is not to carve a place for ourselves but to find the place that is already carved for us. We can tell the difference because when we are working to carve a place for ourselves we feel strained and stressed because we are working against the natural flow of life. When we are working our way towards “our” spot, we feel in sync because we are flowing with the natural order of our life.

We are asked today to notice the flow and when we feel we are going against it, that is a sign to turn around.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Update or create your vision board.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-A morning off.

-Snow…on April 22. Really?

-Grocery shopping done and laundry started. I’m getting a jump on the weekend.

-Meeting new people.
