For your consideration……

……is not always what you get. What we see on the surface is not necessarily indicative of what is going on beneath the surface. We have all heard the saying, “It is never what it seems.” That is because most people do not go around wearing everything they have going on showing on their face or in their body language. No, we project an image of what seems appropriate for the moment.

Why is that? Perhaps we don’t want to be a burden, perhaps it is too painful to share, perhaps we feel guilty if we are too happy when someone else is down, perhaps we don’t think people will understand, perhaps we are embarrassed, perhaps we have trust issues etc. There is a myriad of reasons, yet deep down we know that carrying burdens alone is a weight to big to bare. And deep down we know that the more joy, love and happiness we can put out into the world the better everyone will be.

Deep down we know that the best way to heal the world is for everyone to talk from their authentic self and not their ego self. Today we are reminded to dig. Don’t take the easy way out and just accept the surface view. Dig for the authentic….the truth. Tell the truth. Listen for the truth.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……

-Meditate/pray….ask…..”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water. Always have water with you.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Don’t settle for anything but the truth.

What made me smile yesterday……

-Getting to teach about Karma.

-A great email from Alex.

-Mac’s basketball game.

-Worked, went to Mac’s game, got gas and ordered Aunt Dorothy’s 100 birthday cake and was home by 6:00.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
