For your consideration…..

Often so much is swirling around us. It is so easy to get caught up in gossip,  politics, family or work drama.  It is easy to get swept away.

We are asked, “If everyone gets caught up and swept away, where does it end?” Yesterday we were asked to go to our cornerstone. Today we are asked to anchor to it. We are asked to be the sanity. We are asked to be unwavering in what we know and feel is right and what we know and feel is wrong.

We know what is worth fighting for and what is not. We know drama for the sake of drama when we hear it. We don’t need anyone to define terrorism. We know what it is. We know evil when we see it whether someone calls it evil or not. We know jealousy when we see it. We recognize genuine love and kindness. We feel good and bad intentions.

The constant bombarding and arguing of what we should know and believe is all just gunk. We don’t have to listen to it. We don’t have to participate. We don’t have to let it in and chance being swept away. We don’t have to get into the fray of it all. We just need to anchor to our cornerstone and gather in those who seek sanity and safe harbor.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray….ask….”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Be confident in your truth. Anchor to it.

What made me smile yesterday……

-It wasn’t the day I expected but my students made it wonderful.

-Skyping with Alex.

-Catching up with Shannon.

-A new recipe. Actually it was one I had copied a long time ago. You know how that is. You copy them and then don’t try them. I think I have been boring because Bruce noticed and remembered that I did a new recipe a few days ago to. Note to self. Liven the menu up.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
