For your consideration……

This sounds so harsh but give it a chance. Our message always come from love. We are told today that we can “run but we can’t hide” from our thoughts, feelings and actions. How we present ourselves publicly may or may not be our real self. Most, if not, all of us hold parts of ourselves back. We have secrets that we do not publicly share. This is not a bad thing. However, it is bad to hide from ourselves. In fact, we are told today that we can not hide from ourselves.

What is put in our path has purpose. It has meaning. Whether or not we like it, it has been dealt to us. It is there and we must deal with it. We can not hide from ourselves. Our authentic self always knows. So we are asked to turn to our authentic self. Embrace her. Listen to her. She embraces and loves all that comes to you. She holds the resolution for your highest good.

Avoidance is not the answer. For every problem or concern that was put in our path, there is a solution already in place. We but need to seek it and remember it is all good.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……

-Meditate/pray….embrace your Guidance.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Deal with what is put in your path. Try not to judge it. It is all good.

What made me smile yesterday…….

-Lots of beautiful sunshine.

-It was a real scene. Yes the sun was out but it was still cold and we still have most of the accumulation of snow during the last few weeks. As I called my students in from recess, I see a reluctant few up on the hill. Ultimately they come and tell me that one of my students is stuck up there. He lost his boot in the snow. I climbed up this mountain of snow. I sunk to my knees in snow in places but I got to my student. I got his boot back on and we made our way back down. There had been a “super-hero” alert in their school earlier in the day. I told my student I was his personal super-hero. He laughed and laughed.

-It is so good to hear our Alex.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
