For your consideration……

Hey, no judgement. We have all been on both sides of the “babbling” gig. Indeed I believe, one of the reasons meditation is so successful is because we are completely removed from it. Today’s message is just information for us to consider.

We are all subjected to babbling probably everyday. You know; those stories that go on foreverrrrrrr, your husband tells you 5 times he is going to lay down for a nap (it is a standard joke in my house), you can not get off the phone from a caller, an elderly friend or relative tells you the same stories over and over, people talking around an issue, cover-ups and lies etc.

Well here is one of the things we are told today. Yeah, it may be boring….maybe you have heard it before…..maybe you are in a hurry…..BUT somewhere in all of it there is that grain of truth, piece of a puzzle or information that is important. If we tune it all out, we just might miss it.

The second thing we are told about “babbling” is from the opposite side. If you want to be heard, speak the truth. Know what you want to say. Don’t beat around the bush. Just say it. Because if you mix it in with a bunch of babble, you might be like the kid “who cried wolf too many times.” Listeners who are used to our babbling may tune us out when we really do have something important to say. If you have something that needs to be heard, get it right out there.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…….

-Meditate/pray…..yeah, carve out that alone time and clear your energy.

-Drink lots of water. Water is another energy cleanser.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Practice being an active listener and concise speaker.

-Do something fun.

What made me smile yesterday…….

-Breakfast with my neighbor.

-Shopping errands done. I found exactly what I wanted.

-Alex, happy, happy.

-I love synchronicity.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
