Ahhh….Those Tough Decisions
For your consideration……
Decisions, decisions, decisions. Life presents a constant flow of them in all sizes. It is easy to become overwhelmed. But the message today is to take a step back and look at the flip side. We have the free will to make them. These decisions are given to us for our own self-discovery and growth. They are blessings should we choose to accept them.
Often we get tired or even lazy and are all to willing to turn our life decisions over to someone else to make. It is just easier at the time. We have all done it. But today we are reminded that when we do that, we lose our energy. We lose our power. And it becomes much harder to make subsequent decisions. Some even get trapped in the “entitlement” trap and then keep wondering why their life is not what they imagined it is supposed to be. They don’t want to accept that there is no way around it. Our lessons are our lessons. Unlearned lessons will be presented to us over and over until we learn them.
We are the star of our own tree of life. It takes our perseverance, faith, HOPE, trust and love to make it grow, bear fruit and leave healthy seeds for the future. Only we possess all of the DNA to make the right decisions for our life and our prosperity.
That nagging voice that says turn your decision over to someone else, give away your power or tells you that you “can’t”, is your ego.
You have help 24/7 sent directly from God. Listen for it in the other voice. You will recognize it because it always comes from a kind and loving place. It is encouraging. It never forces or coerces you. It supports you to make and carry out your decisions because it recognizes that it must be your decision. It is your lesson.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..
-Meditate. Become familiar with the voice of your Guidance. The more consistent we are, the easier it is to hear that voice and call on it as we need to.
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths. If it is not too hot, spend some time sitting or walking.
-Notice when you are giving away your voice, your control or power. Pull it back and go within for your own answers.
What made me smile yesterday……
-A new hair color. Actually that may be a laugh out loud.
-A great car wash I have been meaning to try and finally did. Fabulous.
-Shopping…..done.
-Finally, I got to touch base with Jackie.
-One daughter, Alex, is great. Our other daughter is missing in action somewhere. OK, I am making my own decision not to be ticked. Imagine me smiling. Sometimes that is the first step.
Love, Blessings and Gratitude,
Chris
