For your consideration…

Our message today is exactly this, “You don’t  have to have an opinion on EVERYTHING.”

It is good to be curious. It is good to seek knowledge, etc. If we pause for a moment, we quickly realize we don’t know everything. We are not experts on everything. We certainly don’t have to respond as though we are. It is ok to simply be an observer. Soon we will see that there is always more to the story.

That is what we are asked to consider, become an observer. Rather than offering opinions that may or may not have any facts behind them, observe. Watch things unfold with an open mind and heart can go a long way to healing rifts. It can help us not get drawn into drama that is not ours to be a part of. We’ve all seen it within families asked to choose sides in a spat we have no part in but asked to act on an opinion.

We are asked to let go. Don’t be drawn into drama. Don’t be forced into having an opinion.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Observe.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Fun students.

-A second grader says, “Are you pregnant?” “No!” I say. “Oh”, he responds, “T thought your were because your boobs are so big.” How a second grader equate breast size with pregnancy is a real mystery.

-Catching up with Beth and Mary.

-A good mystery series.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
