For your consideration…

Normally when we hear this phrase in the in the scheme of things we think it is talking about our place in the big Universe. But today we are asked to take that phrase to a much smaller level. We are asked to consider in the scheme of things of only our own life.

Throughout a normal day much is put in front of us in and out of our own homes. As we experience life, different things evoke emotions. HOPEfully most of them are happy, loving, satisfaction, inspiring, etc. But sometimes they are anger, disappointment (as was given to us yesterday), irritation, etc.

Our message today is about those negative emotions. We are asked to consider in the scheme of things are they warranted? Are they true? Is the response correctly proportionate? Is it worth our time spent on it?

Like yesterday, we are asked to weight the situation and our attitude and response to it. Deal with it, then let it go. Bless and eliminate what does not serve us and let it go. Smile, think of what brings us joy, and move on.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Smile.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-A fun teaching day.

-Catching up with Jackie and Alex.

-A good book.

-I am sleeping sooo much better with my new CPAP.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
