For your consideration…

Everyone receives their share of disappointments. Indeed, they build our life experience with the lessons they can teach us.

Experience disappointment is normal and healthy. Dwelling in disappointment is unhealthy. When we linger in disappointment it negatively effects our body, mind, and spirit. It negatively impacts our thoughts, words, and deeds leading us to more disappointment. When we linger in disappointment, we become depressed and create a much bigger hole to climb out of.

Our message today asks us to deal with disappointment in the present moment and then bless it and let it go.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of your light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-You have the power to decide how to deal with disappointment.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful cold day.

-Outstanding tasks done.

-Lunch with Dianne, Vicki, Jul, and Kay at Boneheads.

-Then Kay hosted us for coffee and dessert.

-A good book.

-Catching up with Mary.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
