For your consideration…

To be honest, I was not excited when I got the message to write about the downtrodden. After all, this is a blog about HOPE. Finding an image was producing much of the same as I expected until I cam across the above image and quote.

I like this quote because without judgment and shaming, it reminds us to look at what is put in front of us. We may say, how does that change how we feel. It doesn’t. It is a reminder of what we are not noticing. To notice, we must go within to spirit and change our outlook…our attitude…find our HOPE…look with fresh eyes and an open heart. We have that power.

We are asked to let go of all of the doom and gloom predictions and give life a chance. Trust that our God and our Guidance is at work and they know what they are doing. Look at the dawn of each new day with not only HOPE but an expectation that your highest good and the highest good of all can and will come to fruition.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light, wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all”

-Be still, listen and believe what you hear.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful snow day.

-Conner came for dinner and a visit. I became an awesome Mimi. He got to watch all of the Paw Patrol he wanted. He got 2 Valentine cookies. When he got tired I asked him if he wanted to come to my room and lay down an watch TV. Wow! That became an event. TV in the bedroom. He discovered that Louie brings a “stuffy” to bed and where his Moose sleeps when I take care of him. He loved by bench and asked for a pillow there (probably because it was closer to the TV). He loves my monster bank and had fun dumping out the coins. Needless to say we were still having fun when Mom and Dad showed up. We were happy. I’m not so sure about them.

-Finished a good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
