For your consideration…

“Healing ALWAYS is a collaboration.”

I was immediately given separate but different examples for today’s message.

The first is the debate you may have seen on the media that a psychologist in training was interviewed and told anyone who would listen that they should avoid family and friends they disagreed with in the election. In other words don’t go to your family’s Thanksgiving or Christmas celebrations.

The second example was a Bluey play that we took my grandson to earlier in the year. It was entertaining and well done but it did have a message…a moral to the story. Bluey’s mom told them they should not stay mad or hold grudges with the people they love. Her and her sister had not communicated for a long time and she now sees that that was wrong.

The third example is my friend, Mary, who is battling breast cancer. This is not a path that she can go alone. She needs lots of morale, physical, and emotional support.

Whether is it a stranger, friend, relative, or ourselves, we need to collaborate with others and with our Guidance to heal.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm..“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Be a healer.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A wonderful day with my family.

-A great dinner. We always do surf and turf on Christmas.

-Great Christmas wishes from family and friends. Perhaps this this the greatest gift of the internet.

-A good book series.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
