For your consideration…

Yikes…every one of us can relate to “opposition” in these election times. So we should not be surprised that this message came in today.

Our actual message us that our interests are no more or less important than anyone else’s. No one is ever entirely right or wrong. Every one forms their opinion from their reality and the life they have led thus far.

We are getting this message because too often we get caught up in all of the “hoop0la.” Too often we see or hear “We will not talk about…” Or, “No talking about…” Right not it is politics but it could be a situation, religion, person, etc.

The thing is we should be able to talk about our opinions. We should be able to hear others do the same. We should be able to do it without judgment. That that is not happening is the problem. We see this in our government, our families, our friends, and even strangers. Being able to instigate thought, hear different perspectives, evaluate and stay open is necessary to positive growth. We learn our lessons much easier that way.

I saw humor in the above quote. It is so true so why argue?

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Agree to disagree with love and respect.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Lunch with the Chesterfield ladies. It is always fun.

-Alex loved the “following” she did for a perspective new job.

-A good book.

-Catching up with Jackie, Lori, Mary, and both my girls.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
