Catching Wishes

“Catching Wishes” by Josephine Wall

For your consideration…

I have had to sit with today’s message a bit and figure out the “why” for today. It came to me via two angels sitting on either side of my front door. They have been there for years and so I easily overlook them. That addresses the first part of today’s message. We forget that our angels are with us 24/6. They want to be a part of every single thing we do in our lives…big or tiny.

I was reminded of when I bought these angels. I bought them in a store that is no longer in business in Dexter, MI. My friend, Mike, and I were in town for our friend, Dianne’s mom’s (Rita) funeral. If you knew Mike you would understand that the very last thing he wanted to do was shop with me. But I have to say he tuned right in to my want of these angels. I just couldn’t justify the expense. We went to the funeral and after he said, “Go back and get those angels.” “You don’t mind?” I asked. “No, go back and get them.” I have never regretted that decision.

Listening to your heart, or in this case, someone who knows your heart. is key. Our angel’s are always just one request away. We forget this when we struggle with decisions. They never consider it a bother, too minor or petty. It is fun for them to participate. Think about it. Would you want to sit around all day and night simply standing guard? Or would you like to be an active important and engaged angel? Just saying.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Engage your angels.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

=Conner was so excited when his dad got home.

-A fun grocery store trip with Conner.

-Catching up with Lori and Jackie.

-A new book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
