For your consideration…

I love this message. I don’t know about you but if I had a dollar for every time I said, “I should,” I’d be rich.

Our message today is simple. It tells us not to let the “I shoulds” over load our plates. Don’t let them stress us out or tie us up. Don’t let them freeze us in place.

Every time we hear ourselves say “I should,” ask the question why. Why should I? Is it important? Is it valid? Is it necessary? If the answer is yes, then we need to make a plan, get it done, and off our plate. If the answer is no, they we need to let it go. Push it off of our plates.

We have enough to do without worrying about unnecessary “shoulds.”

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Take a hard look at your “I shoulds.”

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-A great nights sleep.

-Which is just what I needed. I finally seem to be getting on top of this respiratory thing.

-A good book.

-Catching up with Mary, Joan, and Julie.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
