For your consideration…

Earlier this month I visited the above cemetery. It is the Florence American Cemetery outside Florence, Italy. It covers overs 70 acres and is the sacred resting place of 4392 Americans killed in WWII. Enscripted on the walls of the memorial in the are the 1409 names of the missing. It is humbling.

We may disagree on many things in this country. We have the right to do so. But please, at least for the day, can we give thanks to those who made the ultimate sacrifice. I am sure they disagreed with many things as well but they still loved it enough to fight for what it stands for.

Let us be humbled and grateful today.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Affirm…“I am blessed.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is the next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day. Finally. a bit of rain.

-Laundry, laundry, laundry.

-Catching up with Alex and Lori.

-Lisa made is home safe and sound…albeit much later than she expected…and was happily reunited with her puppy. He loved his visit here but I am sure he is happy to be home too.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
