Can't see the forest for the trees? - Pump Industry Magazine

For your consideration…

Throughout life facing different challenges we often hear the saying, “Can’t see the forest through the trees.”

Sometimes we are just too close  to clearly see. Sometimes there is too much clutter. Sometimes we have a preconceived notion. Sometimes we are so used to looking at it, we can not see it any other way. ETC.

When we are facing challenges, tasks, etc., and get stuck, our message tells us to pause. Look with fresh eyes. Clear some clutter. Create a new path. Take a higher or lower view. We we not think the forest has changed but it has and our approach needs to reflect that.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Change how we approach the forest.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-A heavy breeze kept things a bit cooler.

-Meditating at the beach.

-Catching up with Alex and Conner.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
