For your consideration…

No doubt about it, life hands us lots of trials and tribulations. How we handle them are all part of our life lessons.

Our message today is specific to happiness. We can all choose to be happy. How?

-Look for the good in people versus the bad.

-Look for the light in darkness.

-Smile, laugh out loud.

-Tag along with happy people.

-Spend time in nature and noticing the wonder of it.

-Try something new.

-Read a funny book or watch a comedy.

-Meditate/pray.

-Volunteer.

-Focus on what you do have and not what you don’t.

You get the picture. Stuff happens that may cause us to be unhappy. But we have the power and control to turn it around. We have the power and control to choose happiness.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

 

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps  anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step fo rmy highest good and the  highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Choose happiness.

 

What made me smile yesterday…

-I was up early and took Alex and Conner to the airport.

-Alex has been nervous with the trip. Conner is full on into his terrible twos and he has never been that great on the airplane in the past. But he surprised her and was an angel the entire trip to Washington. She was absolutely joyous when she called to let us know they had arrived.

-Lisa and her dog, Beef, came over for dinner.

-Finished a mystery.

-Caught up with Mary.
