For your consideration…

We live in a society of instant gratification. We are being programmed for it with marketing. Products are developed around quickness and time saving ie; computers, food, food services, tools, delivery, etc. It is a key factor in how we rate and tip. This spills over into how we do things. We want to do things quickly and get them off of our plate. I am very guilty of this.

Now here’s the thought…the message.

Sometimes it is better to take a step back and “think about it.” There is noting wrong with taking a pause. Perhaps, this is something we shouldn’t do at all. Perhaps, it is not our task to take on. Perhaps if we think about it we will come up with a better and more efficient way to do it.

Give yourself permission to say, “Not right now.” “Let me think about it.” “I’ll get back to you.” etc.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Take time to think.

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day and night.

-Mary and Don came for a visit and dinner.

-Got cards and wrapping for the baby quilts done.

-Delivered them out to Shannon and had a great visit.

-Catching up with Lori and Sigrid.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
