Paul Merson Quote: “As the saying goes, 'you don't fix something if it isn't

For your consideration…

The actual message came in, “If it ain’t broken, don’t fix it.” But there were quickly additions to it.

We want to constantly be growing and improving. That same thing goes for things and circumstances.

However, all too often we do an “either/or.” If we want to improve, we go for the all new. This is where the saying “Don’t through out the baby with the bath water” comes from. We forget that the new plan, process, etc. will also need to be improved. It will not be perfect either.

Today we are asked to be thoughtful and deliberate. If we want to improve ourselves, things, plans, procedures, home, etc., think first. Go through the pros and cons, the good and the bad. Then think about how we can improve and enhance versus starting all over.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Grow, enhance, improve…wisely.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A fun morning with my friend, Kathy.

-Alex and James made it home.

-A fun dinner at Will and Shannon’s celebrating Nick’s birthday.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
