For your consideration…
I love today’s message. It is light and uplifting…well a surprise and delight.
“Surprise and delights” are those things that just come out of the blue, completely unexpected. For example, we expect a rainy day and get sunshine. Or we get a surprise visit from someone. Or out of the blue we get a solution to something we have been struggling with. I worked in the auto industry and we were constantly trying to find those things that the customer would not expect but love one they had them. In fashion, it might be an unexpected pocket somewhere.
Getting something we love when we don’t expect it is always a joy. It is a blessing.
Today we are reminded not only of that feeling but also that we can be the source of someone’s surprise and delight. We can be or provide the unexpected. We can be a blessings in someone’s day.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…
-Affirm…“I am loved.”
-Affirm…”I can be someone’s surprise and delight.”
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
What made me smile yesterday…
-Some good work on my book.
-An eye doctor visit.
-My friend, Beth, and I went to the movies. We saw the movie that won best picture, “Everything Everywhere All At Once.” I am just going to say it. It was the worst movie I have seen in year…maybe ever. Yikes. Perhaps it is someone else’s cup of tea but ugh. It was nerve wreaking.
-However, I had a good book to come home to.
-Catching up with Alex.
