Happy Earth Day —

For your consideration…

Children get it. It is still instinct. They love being outdoors seeing, playing, enjoying Mother Earth.

As adults we can forget. We can walk out the door and not see…not feel the immediate embrace…of Mother Earth.

The people of the world spend infinite resources, learning about the other planets of the Universe. We have learned a lot. It is fascinating. And what is the most fascinating fact of all? Not one place in all that we have discovered is as beautiful as Earth.

Today we are asked to remember that we were chosen and gifted with a beautiful planet we can call Mother. She sustains us and all living things. She welcomes us. She provides abundant resources. She provides endless exploration opportunities for fun, knowledge, vacation, and leisure, etc.

Let us notice and be grateful for this very special gift we were born upon.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Celebrate and take care of Mother Earth.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Catching up with Shannon.

-Bingo at the Moose with Lisa.

-I won a game.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
