For your consideration…

It would be my HOPE that none of us have broken relationships. Or if we do, that they have reached a truce during the Christmas season. Or if that is not the case, we realize our loss and reach out to start the mending process. Still, I know that this is not always the case, because today we were given a message on mending.

It does not matter if we are right or wrong. When we are separated from each other, we are both hurt. Without a resolution, this hurt starts to become part of our lives. It becomes a burden…an unnecessary burden. Unchecked and unresolved this burden can grow way bigger than it was originally.

Now is the time to heal. Reach out. Let go of the burden and start the new year free of it.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Ask, “How can I mend what needs to be mended?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful white Christmas.

-We had a wonderful family dinner. Many hands make hard work light, as Bruce was fond of saying.

-Great gifts.

-Hearing from Lori, Mary, and Cathy.

-Great gifts.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
