For your consideration…

We spend a lot of time on “would have, should have, could have”…regrets. The difference between regrets and lessons learned is time and attitude.

Our message today wants us to take a good look at how we treat OUR heart. How harsh are we on it? How much beating up do we do on it? We want to be good and kind people. We want to do good and kind things for people. But sometimes we fall short. Should we notice that? Of course. Should we harp on it and beat ourselves up? No!

Beating up on our hearts steals the room and energy it needs to be all that it wants to be.

We are being asked to notice the lesson. Learn the lesson and move on doing good things.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Take care of your heart.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Our first real snow.

-Cooking for friends with holiday movies on the TV.

-Jul, Vic, and Dianne for dinner.

-Good euchre games.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
