For your consideration…

I think this is a hard message. I, for one. have regrets. Still, I can appreciate this message.

We all have behavior we wish we wish we could take back. We have all done things that we wish we hadn’t. We all have things we wish we would have done and didn’t. We all have words we wish we had spoken and didn’t. All we all have spoken words we wish we could take back. ETC. ETC. ETC. This is the nature of regret.

But time moves on. We cannot change it. It happened. So we have a choice. We always have a choice. Rather than wallow in regret. We can forgive ourselves and learn from it.

No, we can not turn back time but we can use it to become better and HOPEfully not do or say things that we will live to regret later.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Let regrets be our teacher.

What made me smile yesterday…

-An absolutely beautiful day.

-A perfect day to teach students who still get recess.

-A good book.

-Lunch with friends, Betsy, Pat, Jul, and Vickie.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
