For your consideration…

The “show” in today’s message is life. Each day, each experience is like a show. Comedy, tragedy, drama, love story, etc., every day is a show. It is up to us how we choose to experience it.

Sadly, there are people who dread the upcoming day. They have lost their HOPE. They do not expect to find joy or happiness, or even life lessons. They have forgotten that today, this moment is just that. Tomorrow is a different show altogether full of possibilities because the show must go on. We can not stop time.

Just as we choose to pick a movie we are in the mood to experience, so too is our tomorrow. We can choose to be excited and HOPEful. We can decide that we are going to welcome it with our best self ready to be a full participant in everything it has to offer us because even our happiest days have something positive to teach us and leave us with.

We are asked to remember that each day is a blessing and welcome it with love and HOPE.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.” ….because we are.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Be excited for the “show” that is our tomorrow.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Excitement for Thanksgiving.

-Catching up with Lori, Alex, and Mary.

-My sister and I always comment that we just can not make a meatloaf like our Mother’s. Mine was not like hers but it was probably the best one I have ever made. Bruce asked for it again tonight.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
